I’m having another one of those days where I just want to eat, eat, eat! I’m counting down the minutes to lunch.
The haircut went well yesterday. I didn’t do anything too drastic. My hairdresser kind of talked me out of it reminding me about how long it took to get to the length it was. I did take a considerable amount off though and got a couple more layers in. I like it.
My lip is rather swollen today. Kind of uncomfortable. Still looks good though.
Last night I went for a nice walk with Ollie after work. Daniel was working late and it was a nice evening. Ollie really needs to be walked often cause he’s very hyperactive. It’s almost unbearable at the moment. No one can come in my house and sit on the couch without having him attack them in a very friendly but rough way. So I thought I’d try to tire him out.
I live down the street from the beach but have never really ventured down there. There’s a bridge that leads to it but I didn’t feel comfortable walking across it cause there was no side walk. Just before the beach there is like a creek or river. I don’t know what you would call it but I walked down there and found it to be so peaceful.

We ended up sitting there for a couple minutes. The water was packed with ducks and birds. It was so nice just to sit and think.

Mo has been doing awesome. I still love that little guy. We actually hang out a bit now and he loves sitting on me. I can’t wait to see him. At the moment I’m teaching him how to eat on his own but he still needs my help. He’s been eating the meal worms I bought him but I hate touching them. So gross. He has also been devouring this bird mix stuff that looks almost like porridge. It’s so cute. Especially when he gets a bunch all over his beak and he shakes his head and sends food flying everywhere.

He also loves just being with me and walking around. He’s learning how to fly but can’t quite do it. I take him out of his tank every morning and sit him on it while I do my make up and feed him in between painting my face. He sat there today all chirpy and every time I went near him he’d get real excited, flutter his wings, hop to the edge of the tank and try to look for a way to jump on me. In the end I told him to get on my shoulder which he happily did. I took him off cause I was worried he’d shit on me but he insisted on staying on me in some way. Every time I try to put him down he grabs on my finger or wants back up. So I brushed my teeth this morning with a bird hanging on my shirt on my chest. I even told him to hang on when I bent down to get water. He didn’t move at all. Actually looked pretty chill. This is pretty much what he looked like.

Another new thing he’s been doing is scraping his beak on my hand to try to sharpen it and he flutters his wings real fast when it’s feeding time or he’s starving. I had to catch it on vid. It’s so adorable.
Okay, I’m done gushing over him lol.
That’s all I got for right now cause I’m hungry and it’s lunch time but I’ll leave you with a pic of Ollie from this morning. He came for a ride to work with me.
